Blogging is like writing a story and with all good stories there must be a beginning. So in the beginning…. it was a a dark and stormy night!!! No just kidding, but it did rain a little. I thought maybe I’ll just start typing and see where things go.
If you’re new here you may be missing some info, best I can say is hang on and you’ll catch up quick. Or go back and read the old posts, either way. A little basic info is I’m Kate, mama of three, we live in a little farmhouse in the country a couple hrs outside Toronto. It’s actually the original farmhouse for the area, I always think that’s such an interesting detail. We bought this beautiful gem On Christmas Eve A couple years back. We were posted in Toronto for just one year and without a posting message or firm belief that we would be posted to that area we went ahead and fell in love anyway. Turns out it was a fab decision. Husband has his dream job at an amazing squadron, I retired from the RCAF this summer, the kids love their school, we have friends, on the same street. It’s amazing. And if it weren’t for that pesky horrible chronic pain I have I’d be pretty well set. We can talk about this stuff all winter long.
It’s so funny to think that just two years ago we were tiny house living in Toronto. I posted some pictures in my IG feed. Sitting here now at the kitchen island in my sea of white I’m feeling pretty happy. I mean phew! Glad we didn’t lose our shirts on that. Let’s catch up on houses in a different post. Today let’s catch up on us. This past July I relinquished my chokehold on the position of RCAF #BossBabe and Pilot. F that should be on a business card, lol.

And interior design
And instigator of girl revolutions … shhhh, just small ones, hey were getting t-shirts, anyone want to join a badass network. I won’t tell you our full capabilities, but I can tell you we can fit 30 agents in 2 cars and can help you bury that old rolled up carpet in the night. Just saying….oh is that a stain on your shirt? Cammie can get a bloodstain out of ANYTHING! I mean red wine.
Ok I ran out of time, children’s bus will be shortly. Tomorrow’s a PA day, also known as mommy puts bailies in her coffee morning. They’re just so loud. I would say my biggest shock in parenting is the volume. There is just so much volume LOUD NOISES!!!
This was a good start hey? I’ll get the hang of this again in no time.
